Week 1

I was very inspired by the work of David Hockey and wanted to try something new with this concept. It wanted to represent the idea of a human body. Where you see different colours of blood and different skin tones.

Time Based Project

I enjoyed practicing with the concept of time. It was nice to work with the entire class and making sure we gave each other feedback. Please enjoy the creations that came out of it (written in English for Eric).

Week 2

It was interesting to work with this camera setting. I don't have much experience with photography, but I would definitely want to try this for future projects.

Week 3

This week me, Ruben, Rhona and Sander tried out four different 'movement' routines, but this one was my favourite because we are never on the right beet with the foot step.

Week 4

When I found out what the assignment was for this week, I was pretty bummed. Because I wish I took some unique items to place on the paper, but I worked with what I had. This first image is a plastic piece on the top of the paper with marker. The seconde image is a receipt with paint and tape. The third image is some gum, a mask and an ID.

Week 5

I wanted to follow somebody on the scooter on my own scooter, to check how many times that person would look in his mirror (because that can be pretty obvious on the scooter). In total he looked 23 times in his mirror, looked to the side 4 times and checked his phone 2 times. With this information I wanted to make an illustration, where his actions are placed during the same time in combination with a poem that I thought was fitting for the situation

Week 6

Week 7

I had a couple of ideas I wanted work out, here are some examples:

1. Taking a picture of my hands every day

2. Planking with my dad

3. Taking a picture of my eyebrows every day

But eventually I chose to see what would happen if I would leave out my tea bags, since I drink tea every single day. I did this because my dad eventually didn't want to participate. I didn't take a tea bag everyday, because then you wouldn't see enough progress. I kept all of this in mind, but I am not happy with the result. You don't see a difference in the tea bags, so it feels like a failed experiment. I was very disappointed, but was wondering what would happen if I would display it on light sensitive paper and this is the result:
